Joel R. Zimmerman

Joel R. Zimmerman is a consultant with SRMC, Inc. Joel has more than 20 years of professional security systems expertise, including serving as a Security Systems Analyst for The Ohio State University and as the Lead Design Engineer for security upgrade and renovation projects at the Columbus Metropolitan Library, Fisher College of Business, and Cardinal Health. Joel has extensive construction management experience with a special emphasis on integrated, low-voltage systems.

 

Joel is a graduate of DeVry University with a degree in electronics. He is certified and factory trained by multiple system manufacturers including Bosch, Lenel, Monitor Dynamics, Verint, March Networks, and DMP. Joel has installed, serviced, maintained, managed, designed, specified, engineered, and supervised the installation of hundreds of different brands of video, intrusion, nurse call, intrusion protection, access control, sound reinforcement, media distribution, and fire alarm systems.
